She is a Certified Researcher by SENESCYT, Patricia directs several research projects at the UDLA and collaborates with the EPN, PUCE, UCE, and University of Alicante. She is the author of more than 90 articles indexed in WOS and Scopus and several of Q1. Patricia is Ambassador for Women in Data Science (WiDS) \u2013 Quito-UDLA. Currently, she is a director of the research group \u201cIntelligent &amp; Interactive Systems Lab.\u201d  Patricia is Director of the Master in User Experience at UDLA. In recent years, she has been involved in research related to web accessibility, telemedicine, education, and innovation.
